Click on a collection below of love stories from my beautiful couples who have trusted in me to capture their special day.
Wildrose Brewery
Calgary, Alberta
I met with Malyssa and Scott for the first time at their venue a year before their wedding. We quickly bonded over our shared interest in Harry Potter and Legend of Zelda, so you can imagine my excitement when our meeting led to them deciding to book.
My fiance and I had a blast photographing the two and their friends and family on their wedding day. By the end of the day, we had inside jokes (Hi Kevin!) and made new friends; but most importantly, we came away with gorgeous images to give our couple.
I also found my new favourite bakery thanks to their dessert table. (@prettysweetyyc) Their Cookies + Cream Blondies were worth breaking my diet for!
Canmore Nordic Centre
Canmore, Alberta
Makayla and Evan chose their wedding day to be right around their 10-year anniversary in the mountains – a special place to them.
The bouquet was one of the most stunning ones I've seen, as it featured crystals that also matched the groom's boutonniere.
The snow was coming down like crazy as we took portraits, and the wedding party were champs for braving the cold long enough to get some great shots.
And, of course, having the couple's dog join us for a few photos is always a favourite of mine!
Wild Wild West Event Centre
Calgary, Alberta
Emma grew up going to school with my older brother, and our moms have remained friends, so I was excited when I was asked to photograph this wedding!
As someone who grew up in the Calgary Showband, it made sense for Emma to choose the Wild Wild West Event Centre as the venue. The horse-drawn carriage they rode from their ceremony was a unique addition to their day and made for some beautiful photographs.
My highlights from the day included the wolfdog that lives on-site climbing ladders to be on the roof during the ceremony, two groomsmen shoving Crave cupcakes into their mouth, and all the groomsmen surprising the couple in dinosaur outfits at the end of the reception!
