My husband and I hired McKenzie to shoot our fall wedding and from our in-person first meeting for our engagement shoot we knew she had an eye for detail and was super fun to work with. Her talent truly shone through in every shot. Not only does she have a fantastic understanding of lighting (which is hard to find in a wedding photographer), which made all our photos look stunning, but she also brought a great sense of humor and an easygoing attitude to our wedding day and our whole wedding party loved her. This made the entire process enjoyable and stress-free which is so important on your wedding day. She goes above and beyond in every aspect! Her wedding guide and questionnaire were very helpful and she meticulously edits every single image to make sure they turn out perfect. We couldn’t be happier with the results and highly recommend McKenzie to anyone looking for a very skilled and personable photographer!

There is no one I would rather have picked to photograph our wedding day than Mckenzie. We got a sneak peek of our photos very quickly after the day of and everytime our drive was updated with more images, it felt like Christmas!!! We have gotten so many compliments on our photos and everytime I look at them I love them even more. She is amazing to work with, so dependable and definitely someone you want in your corner during a stressful, crazy time. If you just got engaged, are getting married or need a photographer for any life event I 1000% recommend Mckenzie. Technical ability will separate great photographers from good photographers, but to me, the difference between great and excellent goes beyond the photography itself. It's making people feel happy and comfortable to catch those candid moments. It's willingness to wade into a cold river or climb onto a shaky platform to get that perfect angle. It's socializing with your guests and being part of the fun, instead of an accessory to it. It's taking initiative with the planning process and managing people at the ceremony.
